Welcome to The Nook, arguably Central London’s smallest gallery space! Each month we will be showcasing the work of up and coming and established artists. The first exhibitions are all set, with shows to look forward to from the likes of Alexander Turvey, Telegramme, Lu Flux, Holly Wales and many more. So if you happen to be walking past the Dare windows on Great Titchfield Street, take a look inside and see for yourself.

Good afternoon ‘Nook’
I am glad you are promoting art in central London but one can’t help but notice the glaring similarities with your space to that of Agency Republic’s famed ‘Creative Cupboard’.
We are concerned that you may be incorrectly claiming your Nook Gallery as “London’s smallest”.
We believe that our Creative Cupboard my well be smaller. In fact, we’re so proud of it’s tiny dimensions that we ran an ad in Campaign about it (see http://agencyrepublic.net/campaign_republic_ad.png). Our miniscule gallery is 50 cm deep, 44cm wide and 160 cm high, resulting in a total volume of 352,000 cm3. How does yours measure up? We’d love to confirm that we’re more wee
These are trodden waters my friends; haven taken down W+K recently on their blog welcome to optimism it seems foolish to attempt http://wklondon.typepad.com/welcome_to_optimism/2008/08/these-three-things-many-things-make.html.

Good evening Creative Cupboard,
Thank you for your comment and congratulations on your continued success. We hope the following will clear up any confusion you might be having over there.
First of all, it is worth noting that we claim to be ‘arguably’ London’s smallest gallery.
Secondly, it may also be worth considering your claim to be ‘a gallery’, considering you’re just a cupboard.
Love from us folk at Dare x

Having followed that link, it seems all but the last paragraph of Agency Republic’s post is exactly the same as the post they put to W+K.
Does that not fly in the face of creativity? Get back in the cupboard
